ABOUT US

Denver Boudoir Photography by Denny Fenbers Photography

Let’s start with the usual stuff.  I’ve been a Denver-based boudoir photographer for over 16 years.  I learned the old-fashioned way in the dark room and using single-sheet film on large-format cameras before moving on to digital photography.  Yawn, right?  I’ve been happily married for many years.  When I was younger, skateboarding was my life.  Not relevant, right?  Let’s move on.

What I love about photography is this: I get to work with the most amazing people to create very personal art for them that they will cherish forever. I love to see people thrilled with their photos. I love the reactions and the feedback that they never imagined having photos of themselves such as what they see in front of them.  I love that I get to make people happy.  Most of all, I love the healing power that so many people feel from this art form.  I’m honored by the trust and responsibility my clients give me.

You can see from my work that I offer multiple styles.  Some people are interested in sexy boudoir photos while others want very artistic and sometimes abstract nude figure photography.  Many like a mix.  I’ll work with you to focus on your interests, and, where applicable, to help you find your interests.  Regardless of the style, we’ll do it in a way that results in images you will cherish forever.  I have a process we use during consultations to talk through styles and samples which helps us fine tune a plan for your photo session.  I’ll guide you through every step and every pose.  I’ll probably make you laugh with my personal demonstration of poses and my lack of flexibility.  As hundreds of people would confirm, it will be an amazing experience that is both fun and, for many, therapeutic.

What do I believe in? I believe in doing things right and having fun while doing it. Let’s create your art.

“How do you measure the quality of a photograph?  With a stopwatch.”  That’s the line that has always stuck with me from my first photographic art class.  The point is that you know an art piece is meaningful to you by the amount of time you spend looking at it. When it draws you in, has meaning, evokes emotion, when it grabs your attention: that’s art.  That’s what we will create.
